woodenthreads's Shop Policies

Welcome

I gather material, particularly wood, in many ways. Some of the wood, such as walnut, I buy from retailers, some of the fruitwoods, cedar and other local species I get from friends and family. Most of the wood I use is reclaimed, reused, recycled. I was able to purchase a pile of unusual lumber that had been used as scrap in shipping. These species are sometimes difficult to identify. I will describe them as like or reminds me of other species. Please let me know if you have any questions.

The sculptures that I create embody my hopes and dreams:
The sculptures that you see here are tactile and visual pieces to warm your hopes and dreams. This sculpure is meant to remind you of your hopes and dreams not contain them.
Please enjoy and pass along as you choose.

Most of the wood material I use has been re-cycled. Usually I pay for the material and it opens up a wonderful world of choices when working on my sculptures.

Payment

Currently payment is via PayPal.

If there is ever a problem with shipping damage, please take this up directly with the shipping company.

Refunds and Exchanges

Please contact me to determine if a refund or exchange is possible. It varies on a case by case basis. No refund or exchange is guaranteed.

Additional Policies and FAQs

All of the sculptures (including butterflies, angels, pens, rattles, etc) that I sell are made to last. All are sold as is. Wood, glues, epoxy, finishes are all affected by temperature, humidity, use, etc. None of them are made for rough or hard use. Some items in particular have a delicate balance. If there is a problem after you have received any item, please contact me to see what I may be able to do.
