I will ship your item(s) within 48 hours after receipt of payment. Shipping is calculated automatically of the total purchase amount. If there is a difference of more then $1.00 between this and the actual shipping cost, I will refund the difference via paypal. Depending on how busy I am I might not realize it at the moment. You really don't like what you bought at WoolCreations Inc.? You may return the WoolCreations unused within 10 days. Shipping has to be payed by you. I recommend to ship the item via USPS with insurance. I will only refund your money once I hold the item in my hands. I do want everyone to be happy with their WoolCreations.

Custom orders will still have the same rules. I reserve the right to change this at any time. I have to see how I can cover those costs. Most stores will take a down payment and will keep that for their work and only refund a portion of the cost. I believe that you as my customer have the right to something that you like, something that fits and that will make you happy. So for now, please send your unused item back within 10 days, shipping is on you and please to be save send it with insurance

Therapeutic items offered here may not be appropriate for your child, please consult your Pediatrician or Occupational Therapist for advise and recommendations. All therapeutic items offered here contain small parts (poly pellets, cherry pits, herbs) that may be a choking hazard for your child. For all items on our site we recommend a minimum age of 3 years and that children do not put these toys in their mouths.

All WoolCreations are created in a NON-Smoking environment. I do have dogs and cats (which live outside). My animals do not spend time near my WoolCreations.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Stimulating ones senses can be very therapeutic. I have created a few WoolCreations that will encourage to feel, hear, smell and see. The only sense that will not be stimulated is taste. Even though one may chew on wool, one may end up with an undesirable hairy toung .

I will be offering simple shaped felted animals filled with cherry pits, cherry pit pillows, cherry pit pillows with additional organic herbs, aroma therapy organic herb pillows and hopefully weighted pillows made of super soft organic Cotton/Bamboo fabric.


Weighted lap pads, wraps and blankets can have a calming effect to people with Autism, ADHD, Restless Leg Syndrome, Sensory Integration Disorder and other issues. Soothing touch in addition to weight to neck and shoulders may be helpful to sensory processing.

Please talk to your or/and your child's occupational therapist or pediatrician to discuss your or your child's needs.


Choose Poly Pellets, Cherry Pits or Cherry Pits with herbs

POLY PELLETS are sewn into an inside pillow, which is divided into pockets to keep pellets from collecting in just one area. The inside pillow is sewn from a squishy cotton fleece. Beautiful hand dyed organic Cotton/Bamboo Velour is covering the insert like a pillowcase. The pillowcase is sewn, turned and top stitched in a way that prevents the insert from moving around.

Even though there are 2 separate fabrics keeping the poly pellets in place, I recommend checking the pillow, pads, wraps and blankets for any leaks, especially if they are washed or dragged around a lot.

All pillows, pads, wraps and blankets filled with Poly Pellets can be washed in cold to warm temperatures in the washing machine and either air dried or put in the dryer on low temperatures. Please be sure that your washing machine and dryer can handle a heavy weight from larger blankets.


CHERRY PITS are sewn into an inside pillow, which is divided into pockets to keep pits from collecting in just one area. The inside pillow is sewn from a squishy cotton terry. Beautiful hand dyed organic Cotton/Bamboo Velour is covering the insert like a pillowcase. The pillowcase is sewn, turned and top stitched in a way that prevents the insert from moving around.

You can use your Cherry Pit Lap Pad as is, but unlike Poly Pellet Pads they can also be kept in the freezer or heated in the oven or microwave.

In Europe Cherry pits have been used for a long time. The cherry pits have a seed inside and a shell on the outside that contains moisture and natural oil. When heated in the microwave or oven the seed heats up and the shell holds the heat (about 20 minutes). Cherry pits are also great holding in cold. Place your icy hot cherry in a plastic bag in the freezer and it is cold in about an hour. It works great on pains and aches or just to relax or warm/cool. The small seeds can easily settle into body curves and can also be used for a soothing massage when cherry pits are gently rolled against the body. The sound of moving cherry pits also is very soothing.

Cherry pit pads don’t have a food odor when heated, will not cook in microwave or oven like rice, buckwheat or other foods often used in these type of pads/pillows and will not break down like a food product would.

Even though there are 2 separate fabrics keeping the cherry pits in place, I recommend checking the pillow, pads, wraps and blankets for any leaks (you should always do this before washing in the washing machine), especially if they are washed or dragged around a lot.

They are also hand washable in cold water with a little detergent. Rinse thoroughly so no soap residue is left behind. Remove as much water as possible, but wring out carefully and then lay flat to air dry. I have washed my cherry pit lap pads on a gentle cycle in my front load washing machine.
Be sure to completely dry the pad before storing it in the freezer.

The recommended heating time in the microwave is 1-2 minutes, but it really depends on your oven. The cherry pit pad can be over heated and the fabric and the pits can burn. Please stay with your microwave till they are heated. (I never had one burn though).

To produce more and longer lasting heat you could sprinkle the pack with some water. Adding a bit of water will also prevent the pack from drying out. Cherry Pit Pads will keep for a long time; they will not break down or mildew.

Herbs (organic lavender flowers, cinnamon , organic chamomile flowers, lemongrass, organic peppermint leaf, organic spearmint leaf, organic yarrow flower, organic yellow dockroot, white willow bark, rosemary leaf, flax seed, buckwheat hulls CAN NOT BE WASHED) are sewn into an inside pillow, which is divided into 6"x6" pockets to keep pits and herbs from collecting in just one area. The inside pillow is sewn from a squishy cotton terry. Beautiful hand dyed organic Cotton/Bamboo Velour is covering the insert like a pillowcase. The pillowcase is sewn, turned and top stitched in a way that prevents the insert from moving around.
