Welcome

Thank you for visiting Stolen Cheese! My name is Scott Hale, and in addition to being a regular day-job-working-guy, I am a Painter, Cartoonist, Illustrator, and now, Etsy Seller. I find almost anything can be funny if you look at it the right way and have enough of a warped sense of humor.

Payment

I accept Paypal exclusively. I know that probably doesn't seem very fair, but my wife works at a financial institution, and we can't take the risk of a personal check going astray. I'll ship your purchase as soon as I receive Paypal's payment confirmation, which may take a day or two. Whenever possible I will ship items out the business day following confirmation. If the Paypal process isn't started within 24 hours of the sale on Etsy, the item will be relisted. I'm a poor starving artist, and those black hole items take food from the family!

I live in Washington State, and if you do too, your transaction will automatically include the applicable sales tax.

If you need to cancel an order, you need to email me before the item is shipped. I promise not to be grumpy about it, but it will go down easier if you say something nice and apologetic to make up for the bruise to my ego.

Shipping

I will automatically add insurance to any item over $100 at no additional cost. If you would like insurance added to an item under $100, the cost is $1.70.

I will use recycled packaging whenever possible, however I feel that keeping your order secure and getting it to you quickly is the most important thing. If you don't want your package unless it comes in recycled packaging, let me know. I'll go beg on the street for some.

For most purchases I will use the United States Postal Service, because I think if I don't they will go under. For items over $1000, I prefer to use Fed Ex of UPS, which will need a physical address for shipping. Convo me if you have any questions.

Refunds and Exchanges

Your purchase will be packaged sturdily and should not arrive damaged in any way. If it does arrive damaged, please contact me immediately so we can reach an acceptable solution. Some items are replaceable, and some are not.
