Well hello there!
I hope that you find something that you absolutely love in my shop. I love to create things and want you to be happy with your one-of-a-kind unique creation. If you have any concerns about my shop policies, please contact me at any time.

Of course you do! : )
No purchase necessary. Simply blog about my shop (please include a link to my shop), listing your favorite item in it and why you like it. Email me a link of the post and your address, and I'll send out your earrings right away.! First three to send me a link will get vintage puka shells that my father hand picked as a boy off Maui shores on sterling silver (they dangle!) everyone after that will receive awesome vintage glass earrings (they dangle!) Gotta love the dangle...

HAVE YOUR STUFF PAY FOR YOUR STUFF! HOW?
** Send an email to alohaokaaina [!at] gmail.com with the subject line "MAHALO BUCKS BACK" to receive shop news, promotions and receive $1 back for every $10 that you spend each month. Gift certificate notifications will be emailed out on the 2nd of each month and must be used within 30 days. Why the free stuff? Because my customers deserve it for being AWESOME! HOORAY!**
Payment
Timeframe - Unless worked out before hand, the general rule is to please make payment within three days of purchase.
Cancellation - Because many of the things in my store are custom made to size, please be sure that you want the item before buying it as cancelling it after I've cut the fabric is a mondo bummer. Cancellations may be accepted on a person to person basis, but are generally a no-no. I hope you understand! : )
Shipping
I generally ship First Class or Priority Mail. I never ship Parcel Post unless specifically requested by the buyer. Parcel Post from Hawaii to the mainland U.S. can take up to 8 weeks. Eek! So hard to wait that long!
I ship within ten working days of getting payment. If I am behind, I will let you know. (I usually throw in a "thanks for waiting" incentive gift if this happens. : )
I often try to ship sooner, but it depends on the amount of orders coming through, etc. If you feel like you have been waiting too long, please convo me and we'll work it out. I want you to be happy while still being able to provide QUALITY products. : )
Refunds and Exchanges
In the horrible, yet hopefully umlikely event that your package is lost, please rest assured that I will promptly send out a new one after 2 weeks from mailing. (Post office says 2 weeks before it can be deemed "lost")
Due to the nature of some of my vintage fabrics, if I used the last of it to make your (lost) creation, I will either offer you a replacement choice or a refund.
I truly want you to be happy with your purchase! If you are unsatisfied (or if it doesn't fit), I will offer you an even exchange for anything in my store or make another one that does fit.
Please note that the buyer is responsible for the return shipping of the item and that the replacement will be sent out after the the return is, well, returned in new condition - That means, please don't wash or wear it before returning -
I will pay for the shipping of the replacement item up to the cost of the original shipping cost.
For example, say you purchase a dress for $35 with a shipping cost of $2.95, hate it and return it for one of my hanging lamps that costs $12.95 to ship... I will pay $2.95 of the shipping of the lamp and you pay the difference.
Please understand that a monetary refund is not generally given unless the item arrives damaged. If you believe that there is a really good reason for one to be given, please email me and I will do my best to be understanding and work with you.

PLEASE ALLOW 72 HOURS FOR ME TO RESPOND TO CONVO'S.
I assure you that your thoughts and concerns are very important to me and I am not ignoring you. ; )
Running a business (not to mention making everything by hand) is very time consuming.
Trust that I am dying to get back to you and will as soon as I can get away from my sewing machine.
IF YOU FEEL THAT YOUR ITEM MAY BE LOST IN SHIPPING, or YOU FEEL YOU HAVE WAITED TOO LONG FOR YOUR ITEM TO ARRIVE,
Please contact me and allow me the 72 hours to reply. I promise to God that I want you to be happy and understand that waiting is realllly junk. On the flip side, your item is handmade. Please respect that it takes time and I currently have many orders to fill.
Each and every one is important and they need to be filled in order in which they were purchased.

STEPS FOR CUSTOM ART:
1) Please email a minimum of three photos that you LOVE for me to choose from. I'll take a look at them and let you know which one I believe will be the right fit for my style. alohaokaaina [!at] gmail.com
2) Convo me to let me know that the photos have been sent.
3) Choose up to three different colors that you think you would like
4) Look over color swatches that I email back to you
5) Choose one and email me back your choice. Please mention if you would like a contrasting color outline, etc.
6) I'll mail you the art in five days.
7) You get it in the mail and get really happy. : )
