katwise's Shop Policies

Welcome

Welcome to Katwise! It is my pleasure to provide you with some unique and funky clothes to brighten up your world a little bit.

Please keep in mind that each piece is one of a kind and made from recycled garments, so they may have a little more *character* than store bought, mass produced things. I do my best to choose quality knits, then them with with love and care. But these are handmade and often vintage items, so be prepared for the occasional charming imperfection.

Payment

I accept paypal, check or money order. I am happy to reserve something for you if you cannot pay right away. Please do not purchase anything that you don't intend to pay for. Please don't make me have to send you 16 polite emails wondering if you plan to pay. thanks!

Shipping

I ship once a week, usually on tuesday. So, at most it should be 5 business days before your item is shipped (though often more quickly).
I use the US postal system, first class or parcel post. Or sometimes riority when the price difference is negligible.
If you wish to have priority, or express mail delivery, as well as delivery confirmation or insurance, those can be arranged for an extra couple of dollars, depending on what you need. Feel free to convo me before payment, and I will work that out with you.
If you need something gift wrapped or whatever, that is my pleasure, at no additional charge. I just like presents in general. ;)

*International customers!* Sadly the US postal service does not offer international tracking, so it is *ship at your own risk*....i have shipped many many international packages without incidant, but if it gets lost in customs or whatever I cannot refund you. I am sorry!

Refunds and Exchanges

More than anything i just want you to be happy. If something fits you wonky, or just isn't what you dreamed, I will accept a return and refund you the $ (less S&H) within a week of you receiving it.

Custom orders are not returnable.

I am also happy to alter something if you pay the shipping and possibly a bit of extra material costs, depending on the situation.

If something gets lost on the mail, I will take care of it.

I just want you to be happy!!

Additional Policies and FAQs

O be safe they should all be hand washed cold and dried flat. You can take a risk and throw it in the washer (I do) but there is always a possibility that wool will keep shrinking, so if you want to be 100% safe, hand wash!
Occasionally little threads work their way loose. Most of the time these can be snipped without consequence. If it looks like the sweater itself is getting frayed (a rare but possible consequence of absolutely any sweater creation) you should remember the old saying: "a stitch in time saves nine".....
