geekbliss's Shop Policies
Welcome
I'm glad you found me! I make yummy lip balms (and a few other things) themed to my favorite geek things. My items are as natural as I can get 'em and packaged in 100% recycled tubes.
Payment
Paypal only, please. :) Paypal is fast and secure, and I won't need to send my team of ninjas after you. Please pay within 24 hours of ordering; if you can't do that, please wait to order until you can.
Shipping
Please know that the lowest shipping rates mean waiting awhile to get your items! While I can fit a few lip balms into an envelope for not much shipping charge (1.50 for a tube and about .50 each additional), it'll take the USPS a long time to get them to you (can take a week or two). I recommend Priority Mail, which only takes 2-3 days (US). It's 4.95 flat rate per box, and I can fit quite a bit into a box.
If your order has a lot of items or if you are interested in wholesale, please contact me ahead of time so I can figure out the best shipping method for you. :)
Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the personal nature of my items I can't accept returns. I also cannot be responsible for damages during transit. However, store credit is possible if there is something wrong with your item. Please let me know ASAP so I can help make you happy!
Additional Policies and FAQs
A note about lip balms: lip balms are meant to stay on your lips and not to be "tasted" per se. They are not actually "flavored;" they have body-safe oils added to them that you smell as you use them (but are called "flavorings" since they are safe to ingest). Lip balms are not supposed to have actual flavors, since balms are meant to stay on your lips and keep their moisture ON your skin. If you licked it all off because it tasted good, you'd not only lick off all the balm, negating using it in the first place, but excessive lip-licking is one cause of dryness in the first place! The balms do smell yummy enough to eat, but if you want to eat some chocolate or mint or cheesecake, just go get some. :) After saying all that, I will also say that a few balms might indeed have a sweet taste. This is a product of the particular oil used and not the norm.
