The Sommer Designs Esty shop is a little off-shoot of my main website, www.sommerdesigns.com. I am located in Southern California, in a little area called Palos Verdes Peninsula. I started Sommer Designs way back in 1999 as a web design studio and it morphed into its’ current incarnation about 5 years ago. I design & manufacture a line of handcrafted women’s accessories – handbags, sweet hostess aprons, luscious lavender-filled fabric drawer liners, pouches & key fobs.

I love working with color, and have an insanely fun time combining unlikely patterns and fabric combinations. I’m always on the lookout for cool fabric – and thanks to an amazing variety of talented textile designers, it’s a pretty easy job.

Payment

All Etsy purchases must be paid for immediately via Paypal. If not, I reserve the right to cancel the sale & relist the item. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but I simply don't have time to chase down payment and I like to ship immediately if I can. If you are having any problems paying, please contact me and I will try to work with you to get it straightened out (pesky computers).

Regarding multiple purchases to the same address: Since it's difficult to know what the final shipping cost will be until it's all boxed up, I will refund the difference via Paypal after the final cost is determined.

If your purchase is not paid for immediately, and there is no payment or contact within 3 days of purchase, I retain the right to void the transaction and relist the item.

::SALES TAX::

All California residents will be charged 9.75% sales tax at the time of payment. Sorry about that…talk to the terminator.

Shipping

::SHIPPING::

Most times, your purchase will be shipped immediately, or within 24 hours. I do not ship on weekends. All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, or First Class. I will ship to the address on your Paypal account, PLEASE make sure it is correct!


::INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING::

I'm sorry - at this time I only ship within the United States.

Refunds and Exchanges

I have pretty high standards, and inspect each and every product before it is shipped. Workmanship defects are few and far between. However, if you are not happy with your purchase, please convo me immediately to discuss options for refund. I will accept returns if I am contacted within 5 days of delivery, and returns are only accepted if the item shows no signs of use or damage. Please note: products marked ON SALE are final and not returnable.

You are responsible for shipping the item back to me in the same manner it was shipped to you (i.e. correct sized box, not paper mailer! Please do not crush the merchandise!), and shipping charges are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed when the item is received by Sommer Designs after we have determined that there is no damage, and you will be credited in the same manner you paid.

You are responsible for any proof of delivery, such as Signature Confirmation or Delivery Confirmation by the USPS.
