UPDATE: Thanks to all who attended today's community chat. I apologize for the technical difficulties, and appreciate those who stuck it out.  I will be compiling all of the promised resources for you, and will post a follow up here in the Etsy blog on Monday afternoon.

Furthermore, for those who were unable to stay or attend today's session. A follow up will be held on Tuesday evening at 5:00PM EST.

Please join me in the Auditorium of the Virtual Labs this Friday, January 23rd, at 12:00pm EST for a general community chat on The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA).

General Agenda:

1. Briefing/Update on the CPSIA - To the best of my ability, I will discuss, in layman's terms, what the law says, where it stands now, and what the time frame is.

2. Hypothetical CPSIA Pricing - What are the pros and cons of Etsy sellers placing theoretical prices on items that may be affected by the CPSIA.

3. Take Action - Ideas for getting the word out to the media, lobbying politicians, and educating the community.

4. Resources - Links, resources, contacts.

Matt-

Looks like you ought to fix the title to say "Friday Jan 23rd," not the 24th. Also fix it in the body to say 23rd, not 23th. Some people might miss that...
