Etsy has had quite a growth spurt in the past year, and we have the awkward pictures to prove it. We'll be posting a series of About Us pieces to help you get to know the Etsy admin (and since many of us work remotely, for the admin to get to know each other!). You've seen the admin badge, and maybe you're a bit curious about the person behind it! Tara aka weirdwolf, our new addition to the Storque Team, just ratcheted up the cool factor of this here super-blog. Tara is a NYC local, though lived in Boston for many years,  and has her finger on the pulse of the handmade world. She's an art school grad (we got to see some of her photography on textile work) and she brings with her an extensive background in filmmaking and editing.  She's a rockstar.

Yeah, like I said. Tara is a rockstar and apparently, always was. This is the closest thing we could find to an "awkward" picture. Gorgeous!

Yes. Rock star.

This wind-blown, devil-may-care attitude, paired with snakeskin and thigh-high boots look? Tara, please.  We are in awe of you.

Baby rockstar. Now we know where she got it from: her awesome mama.

OMG, those boots are so amazing on you! Plus, you had the attitude to go with them.
You were way way way ahead of your time with the thigh boots. Gwen Steffani, Hayden Panatierre, Megan Fox, Jessica Simpson, and J-Lo wear those all the time. Your sense of style is classic!

Tara - If you and I went to middle school together you would've been one of those 9th graders that I deeply envied as a 7th grader. Sure I dabbled in a little L'oreal Megaspritz and the occasional Aquanet, but I could *never* achieve the blow-drying-slash-teasing genius that you apparently mastered. Amazing height! Congratulations! Your parents must've been so proud! XD
