The holidays are really for the kids, remember! So many, many Etsy artists make incredible, handmade toys. We had a hard time picking these 60 to vote on.

Voting ends on Friday, December 12th at high noon, Eastern Time. May the best toys win! As an added bonus, we'll feature your favorites here on Etsy's blog and in the Gift Guides.

On Etsy, shoppers can always contact sellers through convos to find out more about how they made their items! You can also check the item description on any children's toy listing for valuable information on safety and age appropriateness.

most of these things will not be legal to sell after Feb 10 thanks to the CPSIA. so sad...better buy them now! Or...call your representatives and the media to complain.

It is getting more and more difficult to vote in these series...each toy chosen is very unique..how is one to decide on just one? I have to say there is one item..the discovery tote by Helicoptorstudios where the first picture doesn't do the item justice..do yourself a favor and click the item to view what this toy really is..so creative, unique and a fabulous idea!

So happy to see my doggy stackable toy made the cut. Sad to say however that no handmade toys can legally be sold after Feb. 10th 2008 - NO toys are expempt. This is an especially tough one because kids are so different. I have all boys, but they're all different ages, so they would all like diferent things. I ended up picking something that I would have wanted when I was a little girl...maybe one day I'll have a girl, and then I can buy it!
