At the risk of sounding like all I do is watch television (I don't even have a television, mind you. Thanks a
lot, Internet!), I've got to say that no show is capable of systematically making me laugh until I cry like The Office can. There's just something about the painfully awkward, at times inappropriate, and yet charmingly earnest humor that gets me every time.
Some of my favorite moments from the show are better communicated with visual aids, so come along on a stroll down memory lane as we prepare for tonight's season premiere.
The battle cry of Michael Scott. By soadypopdesigns, $13.
TWO - Premium Soy 16 oz Jar Candles
For only $10,000, you could become a co-owner of "Serenity by Jan." By blisscandles, $34.
Speaking of Angela...(I kid, I kid! Though who could forget the duel between Andy and Dwight?) By sweetheartsinner, $9.99.
I was in hysterics when Oscar fell through the ceiling in the Stress Relief episode. His dangling legs will forever be burned into my memory. By GollyBard, $15.
I Like Naps Ladies T-Shirt - Sizes S, M, L, XL
I wouldn't mind a birthday party planned by Dwight and Jim. Kelly's one lucky lady, in my book. By theboldbanana, $12.
"Beets. Bears. Battlestar Galactica." By lesophie, $30.
Note to self: Caprese salad and marijuana are two very different things. By GardenItaly, $2.
Speaking of blondies — why, Ryan, why? By devellesbakery, $12.
Hot Heads CARD for all occasions
Let Meredith's (literally) flaming red hair be a lesson to us all: Drunken bellydancing at an office holiday party is always a bad idea, even if it is Moroccan themed. By kinsellaart, $5.
This Ain't No Disco Print - Martha - 8x10
...it's a cafe. Oh wait, it's a disco too? By jaimers, $18.
Are you watching tonight? What's your favorite Office moment? Let us know in the comments below!

TeenAngster
Applause!
So good! I <3 The Office. Also, "That's what she said" will never get old.
EJPcreations
The office really does rock and I hate TV. The British one was amazing too!
AlloverArt
Where's the Forman Grill that Michael likes to cook bacon on in the morning? :)
VintageMafia
LOL... great compilation.
One of my fav episodes is where Jim hires a Ben Franklin impersonator for Phyllis' bridal party.
shavingkitsuppplies
I think I'm going to take some style tips from that office hussy....she looks really hot!
kittyanydots
fun list!
the pranks jim pulls on dwight are my favorite parts.
gloilocksandbody
Ohh, I love me some Office. *whispers* I have a secret crush on Dwight!
Agreed shavingkitsuppplies! What a fox.

blythehopesvintage
This is the best Storque article ever! Love the office - I have it on in the background when I'm listing - love love love it!
blythehopesvintage
Oh - and my 2 year old daughter has a crush on Dwight too...
edithandlulu
I work in an office just like that with a boss very similar to Michael.
edithandlulu
Creed says: "A man may have slipped in. There would be no way of knowing."
atouchofvintage
i'm a sucker for the original british version but it's all good!
sosorosey
Oh, thanks so much for the giggles!! The Office is one of my all time fave shows...I'm cracking up right now remembering Michael singing the Chili's song "I want my baby back baby back baby back". Darryl has some of the best lines ever, and his delivery, OMG. Can't wait for tonight!!
FlanneryCrane
enjoyed this. I need the "This ain't no disco" for my studio.
ElloPoppet
I'm giggling at work - this is fabulous!
Best. Storque. Ever. Katie, can I have your babies?
niTeBecOmEsdAy

shopgoodgrace
oh my! love this one! (have you seen the hilarious "That's what she said" Office montage on YouTube? A must see...)
sparkershop
So fun!
I have few things in my shop that would make great desk accessories... but I'm not sure any of them are this funny!
SimpleTraditions
That's one of my favorite things to do with my hubby on Thursday nights! He actually just went to get Chinese, beer, wine and some good appetizers just for it. Hey when you got a 2 and 4 year old, You make The Office into a date night!!
BadBabyQuilts
EEEEEEEE!!!!!
My two obsessions, Etsy and The Office, in one place!
You need some elloh here: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?... .
EndlessVintage
Haha. Awesome post. We have some favorite moments in common. I will be in SCRANTON this weekend... thrifting up a storm. Did you know that during christmastime in Scraton they hag banners all around with the logos of local business who support the decorating of the city and they hang up a BUNCH of fake Dunder Mifflin signs? Well now you do. It always cracks me up.
monkeyandsquirrel
ahhh... stapler in a jello mold. it's covered in jelly!!! classic!
MarcellasExcess
Classic...love them! And don't be ashamed of being a TV head...relish the bond it creates with the rest of us - lol!!
WHIMSYlove
Best Storque EVER!
I LOVE The Office! One of my favorite scenes is where Dwight rigs a fake fire. All the chaos is hilarious!
thebirchperch
I love the episode where Dwight has just broken up with Angela and Pam and Jim visit the beat farm. I couldn't help but laugh at Dwight weeping in his room over Angela's cherub. So, in honor of that episode, I found a great vintage cherub.
Majestyinc
What a good job you did finding those items and also finding quotes and moments! I heart the office so much. Not much makes me laugh outloud while I am alone....
FACT: BEARS EAT BEETS.
vintagerenaissance
Question...would you say this is the best Storque article ever? YES.
:D Love it!
lauradeponte
i LOVE the office, this is so much fun! cant wait for the season finale!
slothmuffin
I'm a huge Office fan, so looking at these items and your captions has me grinning like a loon.
fruition
Identity theft is not a joke Jim! Millions of families suffer every year!
We found the pervert, he's in the women's bathroom above the sink
ArtworkbyKD
Thanks for this article!! The Office is the best!! Michael dancing on 'The Booze Cruise' episode is one of my favs:-)
truLuxe
It's so bad... I can't even type it... But it was the first episode and Michael was doing Diversity Training and asking everyone about their nationality.
Woah.
StellaAmore
I haven't seen the American one, but the British one was funny!!!
vintageitville
Ha ah this is perfect. So many inside funnies. Love the Fire Bull and Beet Stamp. Funny Funny
Yeah I love when Dwight dresses like Jim and Jim dresses like Dwight. Classic
seamingly
I love The Office! As rare as a Mose sighting is, my 2 year old son is ridiculously afraid of him...
EmmieBean
haha great idea! I love the office and both the "That's What She Said" sign and "This Ain't No Disco" made me laugh out loud.
flapperdoodle
ahh! you left out one of my favorite etsy stores, elloh-- she has a whole section of her store devoted to The Office!
shopgoodgrace
omg!!! Pam's preggers!!! soooo sweet... Jim was all teary!! LOVE IT! (sorry for the spoiler - if you haven't seen it...)
WhimsyHouse
So silly! I love it all!! Wishing my hubby didn't have LOST on the DVR so I could be watching "The Office" live :)
busterandboo
"This ain't no disco, this ain't no fooling around"
Talking Heads
mooshoopork
what the heck!!? i havent seen that yet?
*eyes up shopgoodgrace*
thanks alot!! :P
hahaha
oh and the office is oh so funny i loves it.
thanks katie :)
shopgoodgrace
I know... I posted before I could think better of it...
Sorry. :(
OnTheRound
Great article! we've been watching the office off the internet all month...just perfect (and that is what she said).
GemmaBeads
Doesn't start for another 15 minutes here in the Mountain Time zone but I'll be watching! So many fun items picked. Love the merit badge!!
PersistentGreen
Hilarious! I'm waiting here in the Mountain zone too--you put me in just the right mood.
Bears... beets... Battlestar Galactica.
truLuxe
Love the title on the Front Page...
Are you watching?
I did... and I'm keeping my mouth SHUT!
mksupplies
Haha! Yes, we are watching! And of course due to an Etsy addiction checking the Etsy front page at the same time. I love the finds!
ajplays
The one where Pam walks on coals and gives her big speech.
"LOOK AT WHAT I'M DOING AND GO TELL SOMEONE IT!!!"
cbeatty23
My favorite has to be when there is a bat in the office and Dwight tries to catch it by putting a bag over Meredith's head...classic!!
VivaceCrafts
Oh the Office... I <3 Dwight and Kevin. I felt so bad for him when he dumped his chili on the floor! :(
Great post!
mirthmarket
My favorite is also the scene with the bat flying out of the ceiling.
Second favorite isn't really a scene, just the decorations for Kelly's birthday party: underinflated brown and gray balloons and the helvetica printout in black and white: IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY.
Third would be everything else.
SeatOfMyPants
almost died laughing about the nickels in the phone prank. :)
JeweledAmbrosia
love this show! can't beleive I missed it tonight, guess I'll have to watch it online tomorrow
TheCottageCheese
Love the show, love this post. My favorite prank still may be the stapler in the jello in the pilot episode. Who didn't want to do that to a co-worker after seeing that scene? <---that's what she said...
foxtrailgeneralstore
Dwight's foray into argo-tourism is amazing! Pam and Jim spend the night in the "irrigation room." Too funny!!!
EclecticOrchid
Absolutely loving this! This article along with the one on Lost and the collections of items ranks right up there as the best articles ever! Who would have thought there were so many items right here on Etsy that could explain the shows and their sentiments exactly? Actually, what can't you find on etsy, so this should have been obvious! Wonderful, especially to a tv junkie (yes I'm loud and proud).
songsparrow
What a fabulous idea for a list! I'm a proud lover of the show and the fact that crafting can be tied in so well just makes me smile. "Booze Cruise" has to be the favorite. Keep up the good work!
mojospastyle
butterscotch blondies! Yum! I make blondies all the time. Very cool topic.
slinkymalinkicat
Ricky Gervais is absolutely brilliant!!! I haven't seen the US version, but the original UK series is fantastic!!!
arteest
A favorite moment: Michael calls Wendy's for a blind date. Ahhh...I watch the reruns and laugh like I've never seen it before. Thanks for this article!
Smooshy
I loved when the office was participating in a Biggest Loser contest and Dwight dropped Phyllis off in the middle of the ghetto to force her to exercise.
bungalowmarketplace
Dwight's fire drill was one of the best episodes EVER!!!!!
bunnywithatoolbelt
Wow...you sure got all of us Office fans to come out of the closet! I love the Etsy interpretation...great article.
vineyardsky
Angela says, "Oscar, save bandit!" I can't explain it but the cat coming back through the ceiling tile cracks me up!
Great article and the picks are perfect! Love the Office and cannot delete the fire drill episode. Too funny.
whiletheyplay
HAAAAAA!! I love it! Your commentary cracked me up!
And I also watch it over the Internet. TV shows just generally don't appeal to me. Although, I have to say, 30 Rock is one that has caught my interest just this last season. Hilarious!
evelynfields
I loVE The Office too!!!!! We don't have a tv either & just watch it on the web. One of my fav was when they started the Micheal Scott Paper Company & how they were making their own deliveries at 5am.
vintagetakeout
Love love love The Office, undeniably my favorite show, and I too do not own a TV.
tigersanddragons
Bizarely, I had a dream last night that I was applying for a temp. job at Dunder Mifflin, and had to fill out a bunch of crazy multiple choice questionaires written by Michael Scott.
This is what happens when you watch too much tv!
My favourite Office episode is when Jim and Pam go to stay at Dwight's B&B. Dwight is my favourite character, Raine Wilson has been on my radar since Six Feet Under.
Check our the British Office on DVD if you can, "Gareth", Dwight's counterpart, is also hilarious.
nectarjewelry
i live in Scranton so i can't resist....
ain't no party like a Scranton party cuz a Scranton party don't stop!!!
MegnificentCo
It's strange because I work in an office (day job) and The Office is a fairly accurate picture of the daily antics that go on. It's pretty rough (that's what she said!).
nectorgirl
I love the office, and office related items on etsy. I have already purchased a screenprinted "Dwight" shirt and pendant to go along with it! I cannot get enough beets apparently. They magically ended up in my garden this year somehow...
jewelrybyallison
Great Storque this time! My most recent favorite Office quote:
Kelly: Eww, Meridith where are your panties?!
Meridith: It's casual friday!
VintageShenanigans
I have a zillion....but a more recent one was the episode where Dwight's angry because Andy's dating Angela & they're going to get married.
So Dwight's in the break room sitting at a table. He's got this evil look on his face and he's using a sharp hunting looking knife to whittle some wood in large, angry, violent swooping motions. Phyllis walks by and says "What are you doing?" and he says "I'm making a knife". Then Phyllis says "You're making a knife with a knife?" and he goes "Yeah, you got a better way"? I just died laughing at that. It doesn't seem as funny now that I'm typing it out....I guess you had to be there :) It's making me giggle even now (hee hee).....
oldfashionallies
I love The Office! The original Brit version is amazing too!
FinnFancies
hahaha! The picture of the green jello made me laugh, the girls my husband works with did that to his stapler on april fools. Love the Office!
maggie16
this is such a brilliant collection of items! undoubtedly one of the cleverest, quirkiest, funniest shows ever created...and i'm talkin' bout the american one! live long office!
rosycloudfairyland
Love this great post. Unfashionable TV. We only have computer screen.
oldworldprimitives
Love this post! The Office is the only show that can make me laugh and cringe at the same time.
bluebicicletta
That's hilarious---I also do not have tv but have become addicted to The Office via the internet! This is so perfect!
MadisonReeceDesigns
My Family and I absolutely love the Office, I love stupid humor and the Cat lady. I love the one with the fire in the office and she pulls her cat from a file cabinet drawer, too funny! I am also excited for the premier tonite!
pinkytoeclothing
How awesome! I love The Office :)
I like pie.
Math is hard.
My two favorites :)
hellobrowneyes
I love The Office! My favorite moment.. (there's many) Ryan started the fire!! Everything with Jim and Pam, Support the Rabid (I'm wearing the wrist band as we speak) Office Picnic etc! :)
UglyBaby
It really is great. At first, I was so in love with the British version that I couldn't let myself enjoy the American one -- but it absolutely won me over...and then some!
TheCottageCheese
What, no Creed quotes? Tee-hee. Can't wait for all of tonight's premieres!
bionicunicorn
I love it! The Office is one of my top 3 shows, so thank your for making this!
girltuesdayjewelry
Oh, blondies. Now you've gone and made me hungry for baked goods!
Having done more than one tour of duty in an office, I can attest to the accuracy of the show, The Office. Same goes for Dilbert. Just thinking about being back in the office makes my hand close into the FIST OF DEATH!!!!!!!!
chewiemonster
Oh the stapler in jello. i was just talking about that last night. easily one of my favorite moments.
PishPoshNotions
a dream come true...reruns will be airing every night of the week!! starting Monday.
SeaFindDesigns
My son's been running around the house all night with an Office countdown!
annashoub
Great analogies. That show also makes me laugh till I cry. I'm addicted.
NaturallyHip
Oooh, I love the Office!! I used to work in an office just like that...it's actually *not* fun from the inside, lol! Thanks for the cool picks :)
MetroGypsy
AHA! Scranton! Be there for St. Patricks Day and know true terror lol! Some of my pieces are actually being worn on the streets there! WOOOT! Gotta' love me some Dwight!
miasophia
oh can't wait!!! my kid's just look at me weird when I laugh...i guess it's not their kind of humor! ha ha ha
thankyoulucky
Hillarious! What a great post!!!
One of my favourite shows, but I can't watch tonight because I haven't finished watching all of last season :(
beets, bears, battlestar gallactica!
mybirch
My most used sentance in my vocabulary.
Great article Katie! (hey thats my name too!)
necessityisthemother
Uh... best article ever pretty much!! My communication with my husband is in danger of soon being limited to applicable quotes from The Office. Mostly Dwight's enlightened words, of course.
jennamichelle
I don't have a television either! You're the only other person I know without one (no, I don't know you...you know what I mean). Thanks for making me feel normal again :)
ClaudiaLord
I'm so glad I saw this article 30 minutes ago - I almost missed tonight's episode!
mamax2
Best. Show. Ever. "That's what she said" is funny even if it doesn't make sense for the situation! I often use it in the midst of petty arguments with my husband. Makes me giggle :)
Marang97
This show makes me want to have a tv again!! I will catch it soon! Oscar falling through the ceiling was CLASSIC!!
PS ~ You can catch the episode on NBC.com or Hulu.com, I believe, but don't quote me on that!! :)
ChloesRuffleButt
This is so awesome! I have to go watch "The Office" now!
norakaren
I love "the office " and this article. Very great looks
particulary "I love naps" even when I don't is a very funny design.
craftydill
This is awesome and I laughed out loud going through your article!!
floresdelsol
it was such a good episode tonight! I am glad new ones are back on.
PonderandStitch
Thank you so much for posting this!! I was dying all summer waiting for The Office to return. :)
kclarkphotography
I'm so glad its back!!! No more reality TV--well except for Project Runway and So You think you can Dance and America's Next Top Model and Ghost Hunters. Dang, I thought I didn't watch reality TV.
monkeyandsquirrel
ahhhh... the office! i've been watching back to back... to back, episodes on netflix. i may have a problem.
beegirl70
What a great collection! I can not get enough of the Office... thanks for the fix!
One of my favs (and the funniest) episodes is back in (I think) season 2 when Michael "cooks" his foot by stepping on his George Foreman grill:)
Tias
The Office is one of the greatest shows in a long long time! Mind me, I am talking about the original British version, never seen the US one.
CatsCreations
Love the finds. I don't really get the references as I've only seen the British show, but I love it!
LatigoMoon
awe. I just saw this post, my love for this show is very deep. I sit around my computer in my DM robe as I work on Etsy. Used to work with the show. Very bittersweet. Michael would cry.
kimbuktu
I loved when the office was participating in a Biggest Loser contest and Dwight dropped Phyllis off in the middle of the ghetto to force her to exercise.
*********
Yes! And how they all weighed in together on the freight scale.
The show really is a lot like working in an office, but it is not as funny when you are living it.
tootsweethandbags
could not stop laughing during last night's episode: "and now you see why we didn't want to tell anyone. that's clear now right? that's clear now." pam is hands down my fave character.
def not as funny when you are living it...
MissesBird
I LOVE The Office. In fact I'm watching last night's new episode AGAIN on hulu right now lol
MalloryMakesThings
The nipple chafing part gets me cracking up every time on the Fun Run episode.
MouseTrapVintage
Today its my co-worker's birthday and I made her a banner that said "It is your birthday." hehe
lenoreeightyfour
i loved all of this! the office is one of the best shows out there :)
TipsyTimeMachine
My favourite part of last night's episode was Andy's reaction to the rumour being spread about him. He's becoming one of my favourite characters. Gosh I remember loving Rain Wilson back when he was on Six Feet Under. Though I didn't really like Steve Carrell when he was a reoccuring character on Watching Ellie (with Julia Louise Dreyfus) - a show I prefer to The New Adventures of Old Christine.
SimpleTraditions
oh my goodness, how funny was Andy in the season premiere?
margosoriginals
Wow, didn't realize how much of an office junkie I was until I got ALL the references! HAHAHA too funny!!
shopgoodgrace
Heee hee! Love the picks. (That phrase makes me smile everytime I hear it/read it ... "that's what she said". Does that make me terribly immature?)
LindsayRoad
I love, love, love the Office. Nice idea for an article! Did you find any handmade coffins for a bird funeral?
Iammie
Nice stuffs!

Thanks for "The Office" memories!! Please do this again as a recap of this next season too:)
kellykramer
So excited that the office is back on. Loved this little re-cap, and all the great products you picked out!
SimplySamtastic
I love that show!!! I just recently started watching re-runs, I loved it so much I bought all the seasons! Dwight ans Andy are my favorite, I think, It's is hard to choose. Stanley is great!
