We asked our readers to nominate their favorite beach gear items. The competition was heating up the Voter all last week! There were bathing suits, cover-ups, sun hats, beach bags, and much more — even a custom personalized beach towel.

Upon tallying all the votes, ladramaqueen's Vintage-inspired Red Polka Dot Scrunchkini was determined to be the hottest item at the proverbial beach by a landslide (or by a tidal wave?). Congrats, ladramaqueen! You will be featured in the Members' Choice Gift Guide along with some of the other top favorites, pictured below.

Uber Art gets my journal recommendation. I got one of her gorgeous journals for my then 11 year old for Christmas. My daughter thought it was exquisite, and so did I. Workmanship and customer service was divine. Here's one that is currently for sale.
