There are so many reasons to love fall: the leaves burst into a beautiful array of colors, the air gets a bit crisp and the apple pie cravings become overwhelming. The Autumn Showcase will be a place to gather seasonal inspiration and creativity with autumnal and Halloween themed items to wear or to decorate your home.

Info for Sellers

While considering a potential purchase for this Showcase, please keep your featured items on point thematically: Think autumn colors — like deep reds, oranges, yellows and browns — Halloween, leaves, pumpkins, costumes and all things fall. There are no category restrictions for this Showcase.

  • The Autumn Showcase goes on sale Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 12 p.m. ET.
  • Go to the Showcase Gateway to purchase a spot.
  • This Showcase will run from Monday, September 21, 2009, 12 a.m. ET until Sunday, October 4, 2009, 11:59 p.m. ET.
  • For $15 USD, Etsy sellers can purchase a 24-hour spot, which will be linked from a prominent banner on Etsy's homepage.
  • Sellers determine which item will be featured in your Showcase slot. Sellers must use the tool in Your Etsy > Promote > Showcase. Learn more about this process here.

Future Showcases

If you are thinking about planning for other Showcases that may be more appropriate for your items, here are some of the homepage Showcases we will be highlighting:

  • Winter Fashion & Accessories Showcase: On sale October 1, 2009; the Showcase will be live from October 5, 2009 to October 11, 2009.
    • Think cool weather fashions and accessories to accompany them.

  • Holidays: Gifts, Cards and Wrap Showcase: On sale October 8, 2009; the Showcase will be live from October 12, 2009 to October 18, 2009.

    • Think holiday gifts, as well as the cards and wrap to make the gift presentation memorable.

  • Holidays: Home Decor Showcase:  On sale October 15, 2009; the Showcase will be live from October 19, 2009 to October 25, 2009.

    • Think all things to decorate for the holidays: for the home, the tree, your walkway, to entertain, etc.

  • Holidays: Kids & Toys Showcase:  On sale October 22, 2009; the Showcase will be live from October 26, 2009 to November 1, 2009.

    • Think fun holiday gifts for kids of all ages.

Do you need to "click" on the showcase banner on the Etsy Homepage? Because I can see an active scroll showcase banner on Stork, but not on homepage....guess I still need to research this.

Love the Mr. Bones Stemless Wine Glasses. This has always been my favorite time of year! I love the spices and warm earth tones. Can't wait for Sweet Potato Pie and Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread!!!!!!!
