Etsy in the Press: New York Times Geekery
Etsy was mentioned in a New York Times article today, November 15, 2007. Read the piece, Tinkering at Home, Selling on the Web, at this link.

"Etsy (www.etsy.com) is a popular e-commerce site for people to sell their wares. Alongside more traditional items, it offers a scattering of tech-oriented accessories, including handmade iPod cases and charms for cellphones like those favored by Japanese schoolgirls."

Our good friends Phil Torrone of MAKE zine and Limor Fried of adafruit.com, are prominently featured in the article.  We'll see them tonight for Handmade Music Night at the Etsy Labs, wherein NYC geeks share their hacker musical finery.
