Save the date: Etsy's first-ever craft fair!

IMPORTANT UPDATE:  Due to some unfortunate circumstances, this event has been canceled. We are truly sorry. There is good news! We're already thinking about big ideas for Etsy Hearts Handmade shows in 2008. We'll keep you posted in The Storque on further developments as we finalize details of future craft fair events.

We already think of Etsy as a virtual, global craft fair. But wouldn't it be great if Etsy was also an in-person handmade market? Yeah, we think so too!

We are thrilled to introduce Etsy Hearts Handmade, an off-line extension of the Etsy marketplace. Etsy Hearts Handmade is the name we're giving a series of locally-hosted, one-day craft shows, officially sponsored by Etsy.

When the crafty folks of the PDXetsy team approached us for help on a small event this summer, we saw an opportunity to launch Etsy Hearts Handmade in a big way. This December 8th, we will proudly declare that Etsy Hearts Portland by hosting a holiday market in cooperation with the PDXetsy team. Mark your calendars!

Stay tuned to the Storque for more information (coming next week) about how YOU, as a delightfully talented Etsy seller,  can apply to be a vendor at Etsy Hearts Portland.

with doors open to the public from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

This would be Pdx Etsy's THIRD
show. I organized the first two and they were not small. We had at least 60 people participate in the last one.

I realize that this is just another show but I probably won't participate because of my anathema for Audio Cinema.
