Tech Updates: Pay NOW with PayPal

We have made some changes to the check out page. It now says "Next step" next to "Pay with PayPal," and has a link to the Storque article that tells you how to pay with a credit card at PayPal, and how to set up a PayPal account. Also, the text "Pay with PayPal," along with the PayPal AND credit card icons link to PayPal.

IF it said "UNPAID TOTAL",
and then
"PAY WITH PAYPAL" below,
it would be even better!

But for now, i am extremely happy with at least this. (Unfortunately, it has already failed with helping some of my customers understand that they still haven't paid yet.

That's a good improvement - especially the clarification about credit cards. I'd request 3 additional words, so that it reads,

"Next Step: Click Here to Pay..."

No the pay pal info needs to be in a BOX WITH A LARGE BUTTON to visually clue them in it's stilla ongoing process.

Why do the buttons disappear when etsy's portion of the process is done? its not over, this is why so man non-payers were happening. There needs to be a more significant visual clue, adding a couple words in black text ain't doing it.

i'm not sure why it is possible to leave checkout without paying. if a seller has stipulated PayPal as their only method of receiving payment then the checkout process shouldn't be finished until the buyer has clicked thru to pay IMO. reminding takes time, ties up inventory and looks embarrassing
