Last one tonight!!! Lucky Magazine - Fri, 12/12 @ 7pm EST.

Ever wish your favorite style-savvy magazine would somehow come to life and help you navigate the wide variety of items on Etsy? Imagine if your favorite blogger would magically appear and point you to the perfect holiday gifts for your friends and family... (sound of fingers snapping) Your wish is our command!

Etsy is teaming up with a bevy of talented tastemakers to bring you hot picks for the holiday season live in the Virtual Labs. If you've never visited the Virtual Labs, now is your chance to join in Etsy's multi-user, webcam-enabled chat space (yes, where you can also throw around virtual paper airplanes and toss hearts at people). It's going to be a whole lot of fun, so please spread the word and login here at the appointed hour!

I really appreciate that Lucky regularly lists etsy items in their Editor's picks and Trend editorials. Hopefully someone in my family will renew my subsription for xmas ;)

shipping deadlines - anyone thinking of these at all in lalaland? this week is real squeeze time for international shipping - i hope that there won't be too many disappointed buyers at these extravaganzas. ooops! sorry - forgot that Etsy is US-centric in terms of selling (but will happily take international seller fees)

Just so our international buyers are aware - U.S. Sellers can ship First Class up to December 11th to get their packages to their buyers before Xmas to the following areas: Canada, Caribbean, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Mexico, Europe & the Middle East. The Express Mail cut off date is around December 18th.

at $92 priority shipping worldwide via canadapost (some countries may be more expensive) is a somewhat inappropriate method of shipping for the average etsy item (valued at roughly $15 according to the last weather forecast).

most sellers will be working to the most economical method of delivery which for canada means a dec 8th deadline unless the buyer wants to spend big bucks
