I was a little kid in the 70s but I feel so attached to that time. My mom used to make wedding and bridesmaid dresses. She put together a wedding or 2 for friends back then, too. I remember watching her make the dresses and prepare the food. It was an awesomely innocent time.

1980. Still very groovy. My mother's friend had what I would consider an afro. Not sure if this was the "theme," but my father took in stray dogs, so around the wedding cake they placed tiny dog figurines and in the hallway of their apt. building they took a photo with the dogs. It's so my parents, I love it!
