It's up to a seller to decide if they'd like to pay another 20 cents to have their item listing placed back atop the pile, so to speak, in the marketplace." Sounds like its 20 cents to get four months, and 20 cents to get back to the top of the category search.

Geez, I was feeling guilty about having items that expire in 2009! It does sound like a total of $0.40 is being charged to get back to the top, but I think it's just the wording. Renewing will still bump the item up to top regardless of when the expiration date is, right?

Yes, I am thinking that the first 20 cents just lets you keep the listing, but you dont get anything else.....no exposure, if you want to pay DOUBLE what you are paying now, you can have a little teeeny tiny bit of exposure. It is already hard for me to pay 20 cents for 2 (maybe) minutes of exposure.....but to double that......sorry.....I really, really am not happy about that : (
