Enjoyed your article... and I love the sand words pictures! We also are a mom and daughters team. My two daughters and I run diengie together. My daughters live in Ohio and I live in Michigan. How interesting to learn there are so many mom and daughter shops! Maybe we should consider starting an etsy team for mom & daughter shops. Or is there already one that I don't know about?

Love it. Etsy has brought me, my mom(merchantofkismet) and older sister (prodigalprogeny) all together. We go to the flea market and pick out things for our shops together. Its cool, too, how we each represent a branch of Etsy--my mom does vintage, my older sister is one of the top suppliers and I do handmade.

What a great article! It is so nice to hear other moms and daughters running their shops together. Congrats on your first baby! I just had a little boy who is now 11 months old. We are a mother and daughter team too, and we live in different countries - Scotland and England! I design the products and do a lot of the hand sewing while my mum makes up most of our creatures and accessories. We rely on the postal service a lot!

Lovely article! It sounds so similar to our set-up! I am the daughter who does all the computer, internet,social networking and marketing, and Mom does the actual glass work! I don't live in the same town as her either! It's good to read about similar situations!
