my fave Irish memory, albeit a bit bittersweet, is burying my grandparents and then having to each of us get up and throw a bit of dirt from the family home in Cork on top of the grave while the very irish priest read a prayer in gaelic. We also have a lovely handtatted irish christening gown that is close to 200 years old that we were all christened with.My family pilgrimages there yearly to visit relatives and hopefully one day we'll bring the bayou there too. erin go braugh!!!
