Oh! what a great article!And how wonderful that you have all these 'historical' pictures. I myself also have a creative mother (and daughter). My mother makes bobbin lace (Belgium is famous for that). It seems that we both are addicted to working with fine materials. It's quite fun that I can make my choice in her stack of yarns to make my crochet jewellery. I feel very happy in the company of the other crocheteers you've selected. Thank you so much!
