I have just come home from a hard day at school where I work with pre-adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities, and reading your comments is a salve to my soul. Writing this short piece and sharing it with the Etsy community is by far the most interesting Mother's Day activity i have done. That and the fabulous fudge and pecan turtles and honey and jam (all from Etsy sellers) that i received for early Mother's Day gifts. Hurray for celebrations. Also for the record (this is Rob's brother): Rob was a 3/4 arm angle little league all-star pitcher, not side armed. I remember crying when his team lost in the regional playoffs after they had won the city series. A demonstration of how loving an older brother Rob was: for my tenth b-day he gave me his entire baseball card collection, the one thing he was going to take with him when his plot to run away was foiled. Oh, Rob. And yes, I can confirm that it is his handwriting as well. My mother was worried about the some of the stories being embarrassing, but she never mentioned those adorable pictures. Mom, you forgot to tell everyone about the fights we got into during car rides. Remember how many times you had to play judge and jury in regards to who was looking out the other siblings half of the car window. Was it divided top/bottom, or left/right? Happy Mothers Day to all, but especially to you Ma.
