Making Stencil and Yam Prints with Lotta Jansdotter

Lotta Jansdotter just came out with a book about printing called Lotta Prints. I caught up with her at her Brooklyn studio and she showed me some tips and tricks for using stencils and yams to make prints!

Lotta has created a bunch of stencils that you can rip out of her book and use right away or you can make up your own!

Etsians Cook Book Project: ApolloHillsCrafts's Browned Butter Potatoes Recipe

ApolloHillsCrafts shared this recipe with hamptons for the Etsians recipe project.

My daughter runs a website and keeps adding recipes from both grandmother's and also my recipes and finds others wherever she can. Over Thanksgiving we were looking at old recipe books she found ones on-line that were printed in the late 1940's and early 50's and we sure had a time figuring out what some of them were in the end!

She tries out everything she puts up and so her husband and little boy enjoy all the rewards!

We made these potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner instead of my usual mashed potatoes. No-one complained a bit! The browned butter is heaven!
