Etsians, beware!
A spammer has been flooding Etsians Convo inboxes with the following letter:
Dear sir/Madame,we're a export company who have good cooperation with many manufacturers of world famous electronic products in the world market,we will offer you competitive price, excellent quality, prompt delivery and great after-sale service.if you need anything from us,please browse our website ( removed ).
We will do our best to control these accounts and incoming Convos, but right now, these spammers are opening multiple accounts quickly. We will do the best we can to keep up with them until we build a solution. For now, please report spam to abuse@etsy.com.
For more discussion, please refer to the forum thread.
Thanks,
Etsy Customer Care
UPDATE: We added a line of defense that should block these types of spammers in the future. Let us know if you are still receiving spam by emailing abuse@etsy.com.
