Etsy Team Tip: Running a Promotion Online

The PlushTeam this week is holding a really awesome contest this week, which inspired me to write this week's Team Tip of the Week.

This week's tip is to team up with other sellers on your team to run a joint promotion online.  Create a reason for people to browse from shop to shop and have every participating shop promote the online event.  If your team is rather large, perhaps break it down into smaller groups of shops that compliment each other. Cross promote with other groups on blogs, with your Flickr account, on social networking sites and through email.  Getting people clicking through your shop for fun is a great way to gain exposure!
