Here are some fun ways Etsy Success subscribers are currently using the tool:
"I'm just popping in from the newsletter to say how much I love the new Rearrange Your Shop feature! I worked my own B&M store for over 15 years and changing the shelves and display cases was a daily requirement! Shelf by shelf and case by case, the store always looked fresh. Now that I only sell online, I'm ecstatic to apply the same marketing principle to my shop at Etsy!
I can:
- divide up groups of listed items
- move older stock to the front again
- create theme style pages
- create great mixes for pages 1-3 especially
- promote full pages on Twitter/Facebook etc so that the "new" page always looks new

"I was one of the last'ies to get the rearrange your shop function, you know, on day three, but it really didn't matter because when I did, I honestly didn't know what to do with it! I just kinda switched some stuff around...but over the past few hours I have been rearranging like crazy! You see, I have some high priced items in my shop ($46-70) and some very low priced items ($2). Well, I never renew the $2 items, since you do that enough times and you won't make your money back once you sell them (and I would not list them if I didn't have the option to move them around my shop, but I'm getting there), so i renew the high priced items. Then I rearranged my whole shop by COLOR! This is great because the high priced items are still front and center in searches, but now the low-priced items are scattered throughout my shop once you get there. "This tool is amazing. I first found it useful when I sold a few shirts and lost the 'view' history that disappears when you re/list a new product. I love that I can put a highly viewed item first.
Also, I have many similar items that are offered in different colors, or for kids and adults. I love being able to group them together. I had an inquiry today from a mom who just bought a robosaurus tee for her four year old, and now saw that I have a adult version, which was previously buried on my, ahem, second page. That said, I'm sure that those with 12-page stores will use this feature.

It is GREAT! And now I don't have to anally plan ahead exactly what I will list in what order so that it looks right, and then get a teeny bit sad when something is bought and it looks all wrong... hurray for 'rearrange your shop'! x

A lot of my fabrics are coordinates, so this feature is very helpful.

I LOVE this tool! My shop got that picked over look today with 6 sales, including some of my best photos and most current pieces.

As a former gallery manager, I know that being able to group intentional clusters of related pieces is so much more appealing. I'm low on items until my next kiln load and need to show people the best assortment possible. I like grouping by color, and using more white space around the busier pieces.
This is a wonderful tool- and lots of fun, too!

The feature is awesome! I don't have the "before" screenshot (and not going back there!) but now I've rearranged by color and theme. My items flow from fall colors and themes through gothic and noir, homey and cozy, sapphires and seafoams, woodland and feathers to cottage style. I love how much more coherent everything looks.

I must admit I've been pretty intimidated by this feature. I've gone ahead and moved my items around and arranged by color, and similiar items and matched sets are now together. Thanks for the tips!

well I have just spent quite a while trying to get my front page in order (only 6 more pages to go now :)
I did - feature items in pale pinks, then 2 rows of my sale items at the moment, then a row of my brightest bags as they were getting good ratings on craftweasel, then my baby hares in reds/whites, then my other plushs, a row of my popular grey hare cards and lastly another row of my sale items..

The re-arrange feature came up just as i was planning on revamping my shop :D so i changed a bunch of stuff around, re-shot my earrings, got a new banner. Check out how it looks now. The way i had it before was by last listed.

I've rearranged my shop into columns, so that fabric yardage is in the left column, fat quarters are in the center column, and general supplies & minky are in the right column. Easier to browse by item type.

I use this tool daily and LOVE it. I can group items easier and then make different and better use of my shop categories. And as I renew, I don't have to think about staying with a theme (e.g. glaze color or a particular product) since I can renew it and then move it to the appropriate page in my shop. This is a really, really, really, really great too. Thanks to everyone at Etsy who helped get it operational.

One suggestion for future development - It would be very useful to be able to switch whole pages! (move the whole 2nd page to the front etc). Hope you'll consider it for the next development phase.

This is a dream come true...
It is very user friendly, almost like a game. I've rearranged my shop by the color. I think it worked out really well, since I am specialized in feathers. I tried to add different items other than feathers presented by a model, which I think made my more attractive.
The last page is a little bit like a storage still, but I am working on it. My goal is to post at least 3 new items a day...

A THOUSAND THANK YOUS!! I grouped all of my SCOTLAND AND MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS COLLECTION of cloches and RENAISSANCE PORTRAIT HATS on the first page, then silk ribbon embroidered pieces on the second, pillows, clothing, jewelry, and tote bags after those. It will be so nice to group by section now, especially when I add clothing and evening gowns for the holidays!! Unfortunately, I didn't get to take a before screen shot before I read this page!!

The Rearrange feature has allowed me to group items that make it easy for customer to see all of same fabric in different sizes and types of items. Before if they wanted a newly introduced matching item, they would have to flip to another page. See how the Rearrange has helped customer locate coordinating pieces:
