Etsy seller OSSMedicineJewelry is making a documentary about honey bees and the environmental effects that may be damaging their habitats and physiology. See her website www.vanishingbees.com for more info. For now, here's a clip from the movie:

This is wonderful! Thank you, OSSMedicineJewelry for doing this! Bees have been on my mind a lot because they are disappearing; consequently, some bees ended up in my shop.

This is fantastic! I love bees and have used them in some of my own work. It is really great to see attention brought to this very important topic.
Great shot by BuildersStudio!

This is great exposure for a frightening problem. Like frogs, these species could be an indicator species and we should take notice!

Very nice! To be honest bees are nothing to be afraid of. I helped some get out of plastic bags and containers when they get stuck in stuff. Very nice. I will check the website out.

i come from a farming family so i have always been very aware of this issue.
Here are some lesser known facts:
FACT: Honey bees are an invasive species that are not native to this continent.
FACT: Before European immigrants brought honey bees with them, trees and flowers were pollinated by the once flourishing native bumble bee.
FACT: Honey bees have taken over and destroyed food supply and habitat for the native bees.
FACT: If the honey bee goes extinct on this continent the only thing you will miss is their honey.
Crops will continue to be pollinated without them!
