Etsy has had quite a growth spurt in the past year, and we have the awkward pictures to prove it. We'll be posting a series of About Us pieces to help you get to know the Etsy admin (and since many of us work remotely, for the admin to get to know each other!). You've seen the admin badge, and maybe you're a bit curious about the person behind it! Annette, aka annettemusick, is one of the most intense and awesome people I've ever met. Upon shaking hands with her for the first time, it became immediately apparent that she's incredibly intelligent and talented and really engaged with the world around her. I'm not sure what it is: she just has a certain energy about her. And so it didn't surprise me a bit when I found out she's a shaman. Other interesting Annette fun-facts:

• She's from Texas.
• She knows a lot about graffiti.
• She pulls off some of the biggest jewelry I've ever seen.
• She's got a sultry, cool voice.
• She plays conga drums really, really well.
• She is one of the few Etsy admin who will be going to Burning Man.

We are really lucky to have her working for Etsy, where she works on the QA Team (find out what Quality Assurance is here). We over here in Storqueland wish she'd move to Brooklyn so we'd get to see her more.
