Cnet reports: "Etsy Hipsters Gentrify Space, says NASA." tiinateaspoon has the pictures to prove it.
WOW. We just discovered this amazing video on the future of Downtown Brooklyn (where Etsy is located) in 2012. We are literally surrounded by construction, and video (narrated by Ian McKellan, of all people) talks about all the new things that will soon be here. All we have to say is: we'll believe it when we see it!
This just in: "Plague continues to spread its BLACK DEATH around the Etsy Labs, rendering virtually every Etsy admin incapacitated."
Also, general panic at the Labs abounds as admin prepare for their moment in the sun in our new "video box." Prepare to see more videos of us in the near future!
Rumors abound that Etsy founder Rob Kalin has decided to open the Etsy Labs annex at Coney Island, "what with the gentrification and all." Admin are dismayed, having their hopes raised over hints of South Street Seaport, after previous threats of "just the third floor, people!"
This NASA thing has me worried. What do we do when planets known for cheap manufactured goods start opening shops on Etsy with products that are CLEARLY not handmade? And does "Tentacle-made" count as handmade? What about aliens with telekentic powers? How far are we willing to let things go? Will admin please address this issue before it's too late?
