The St Louis metro-area gets crafty this weekend, as the second-annual Strange Folk Festival is this Saturday, September 22 from 10am - 6pm. This one-day event is at Community Park in O’Fallon, Illinois -- just a quick skip across the river from arch-tastic downtown St Louis, Missouri.
One hundred vendors from around the nation will converge in middle America, including many sellers you can find right here on Etsy. This event is organized by an Etsian, too -- Autumn Wiggins of stringtheory. Along with all the great shopping, there will be an Artist Trading Card swap, gift raffles every hour, a Red Cross Blood Drive and The Ceiling Project -- where you can exercise your creativity and help St Louis-based Cranky Yellow by decorating a ceiling tile for their new Cherokee Street storefront.
If you're in the bi-state, come check it out! Lauren (stellaloella) and Amy (wonderamy) will be at the Etsy booth in the pavillion handing out tons of great Etsy merch. Be sure to stop by and say hello!

Had a great time! I agree, love being around all that creativity! My camera's settings were alittle off, but got some photos . . .

I'm a vendor at the festival so if you're there, come by and say "Hi!" I'm super excited about the event, and Autumn has done an extraordinary job organizing it all! Hope to see you there . . .
