I came upon this painting by chance, and I'm so happy to have found it. The twist on traditional religious paintings is so smart, and the fact that stablercake used her grandma's hymnal records as the halos might just make her a mad genius. Plus, she guarantees "at least a little badassery in every image," so you really can't go wrong. $1,500.

Yes, I would love to see more fine-art features on Etsy. I sense it is growing. Other sites, even those specializing in fine-art just aren't as user friendly or as aesthetically pleasing as Etsy and you don't feel nearly as connected to the artists as you do on Etsy. All that to say, thank you for the article and "here here"!
