With summer around the corner, it's time for garden parties. With potato salad and deviled eggs, garden parties are one of the high points of summer. It's important to remember that garden parties can be prestigious events, and more than just picnics with tables. They can be a time to gather in the great outdoors while maintaining some dignity, unlike camping or kayaking (not that adventurous outdoor activities aren't fun).

It's important to have all the necessary items when throwing a garden party. First off, outdoor furniture: if you are eating with your family in the backyard or at the park, then some folding chairs and a card table will do you. On the other hand, if you want to let your guests really feel comfortable and classy at the same time, nothing will beat a set of Adirondack chairs and table. Next, food: you have to have the right food and tableware for the outdoors. Go with cold foods so that you don't have to deal with the complications of keeping them warm. Finally, tableware: I choose to go with ceramics. While a little more costly up front, they can save money in the long run.
