Let me preface this by saying that I am a terrible gardener. Even "easy to grow" plants die under my care. I once had a cactus jump out the window: apparently my black thumb was so bad, it decided defenestration was a preferable fate. (Although I secretly think the cat had something to do with it.) And we won't talk about the time I fed my Venus fly trap steak...
Madebymavis clearly sympathizes with me: her moss jars look so robust even I couldn't mess one up. And the self-contained terrarium is perfect for bringing some greenery to a small apartment. The description says:
"requires very little care, just leave it in a room with bright indirect sunlight. Water every 2-3 weeks and whatever you do, don't over water! This little jar will take care of itself."That is the sort of plant care I can get behind.

Nice, and very pretty. Perhaps I'll finally be able to grow something that won't die on me.

Super Fun. I have collected a few neato vintage jars to start up a terrarium.
Thanks for the motivation.

I want one. How cool. I love the color of the moss, the perfect green.
