Etsy Finds: Upcycled Beer Notebook
Article Header Image

We all know the importance of recycling beer cans and bottles, but what about their cardboard receptacles? Sure, you can recycle these as well, but isn't that a little...well, predicatable?  Ivylanedesigns has found a use for these and other familiar household packages. This artist uses her talents to make a variety of notepads out of these great materials. The colorful spiralbound books are very well made, and turn grocery listing into a joyous occassion.

Be sure to check out all of the wonderful creations in the shop — and think twice before tossing old album sleeves and cereal boxes. The wonder of upcycling could breathe new life into these discarded containers!

The amount of recycling going on in etsy is remarkable! I love recycling cans and tin to the point of them being almost unrecognizable! Let's hear it for ECO CHIC! Vicki (honored to be a member of Trashion)

Great idea to make a feature of the packaging instead of trying to disguise it. Can you imagine pulling out a tampax notebook in the middle of a meeting? LOL!
