This week we'll be presenting you with different themed holiday decorating ideas. This edition deals with traditional holiday decor ideas for
Pysanky Christmas Tree Duck Egg Snowflake Egg by DragonflyTrail

These beautifully painted Ukranian egg ornaments will add a lively and colorful touch to your holiday decor. The tradition of painting eggs has been carried on for thousands of years, and the patterns and colors on each egg represent a different meaning. The eggs are thought to bring the person who displays them good luck and happiness.
Pierrot Tree Topper by rdirenna

I was delighted to run across this whimsical circus themed tree topper. Like a Saltambique from one of Picasso's paintings, he will teeter and then balance on top of your tree, carrying his paper mache star to brighten everyone's day.
Home for the Holidays Print by irenesuchocki

This charming photograph with a gingerbread home on the horizon conjures the anticipation of seeing your grandmother and all the fun you will have this holiday season! It would look lovely hanging on the wall for Christmas, although you could leave it up all year.
Candle House by SusanKniffinDavidson

One of the highlights of Christmas time at my grandmother's is peering into her little ceramic candle house. Hers is electric and has miniature figures of children opening presents inside. This one is for a real candle, and when lit, it puts out a warm glow through each of its intricate little windows. I think it would make a memorable holiday decoration!
Christmas Candle Linen Table Runner by mandodeb

I love the special hand embroidered table cloths and table runners, made by my aunts and grandmother, that are unpacked and displayed each year. Gathering and eating with the family is a major part of Christmas, so the dining room table is prime decorating space. A traditional holiday table runner is always a nice thing to have. This one has exquisite needle work, done in a traditional satin stitch on linen.

I like the main photo... with a few more images and some little flaps, it would make a great advent calendar!
