This weekend's Get the Look: Decor is inspired by the renovation of a 1924 bungalow by Portland, Oregon residents Jessica and Erik. The couple purchased their first home in February of this year and have already completed an impressive extent of remodeling.
I love the way the architectural details of the home mix with their vintage furniture and charming thrift shop and estate sale finds. For more information about Jessica and Erik's home renovation and where they get their inspiration, visit their blog, Domestic PDX.

I love the photos of the house, and some of the items for sale are really cool. In particular, I really like the modernist wooden house from emmylucy, I think I may need one of those.

Awesome! I love so many of these! Our bedroom is a cottage theme and I have many vintage items (in use and for decoration) throughout the apt too. Once we buy a house, I am going to have so much fun finding items on Etsy to decorate it!

I love this bungalow, I feel like I'm on vacation just immersing myself in the pictures! Erik and Jessica have done an amazing renovation, and I just love their style. I envy that crisp white studio space, and could spend hours on that front porch. Domestic PDX is a great blog!

What a nicely appointed home. Home decorating has never been my strong point - my walls tend to stay start white! I love the idea of putting up an interesting large map. Next time I am traveling to Asia to source supplies I'll see if I can find something that I can record my adventures on, and then I'll mount it on the wall of my studio! Thanks for planting the seed of an idea and inspiring me. ;)

Love the bungalow, love the home decor series, love these pics from Etsy, but most of all, love the ideas/inspiration they give me. (Like the idea to upturn the very similar to Nosh's suitcase we have on its end to use as a coffee table--brilliant!)

Love the styling of bungalows, well built and with character. Erik and Jess have created a lovely dwelling place to call home.
The mega large map on the wall is such eye candy and the living so pretty, love picture window and that front porch is awesome.
The lights at night great idea and brings a certain ambiance both inside and out. Romantic evenings. Enjoyed my peruse of all the pic's on flickr. Great job guys with your redo.
