Etsy Finds Decor: Crafting a Cozy Studio

Christine

This weekend's Get the Look: Decor was found while browsing through the Etsy Open Studios flickr pool. Manda's lovely studio space, colorful collection of fabrics and tidy, well organized supplies really stood out. Her UK studio is filled with inspiring fabric swatches, artwork, books and magazines that make working from home look both relaxing and enjoyable.

Manda says she discovered her love for textiles while expecting her first daughter. Her interest in traditional quilting techniques led to the creation of her blog, Tree Fall Design, where she talks about the joys of crafting, decorating, and raising a family in an eco-friendly manner.  Manda also runs a successful Etsy shop at manda.etsy.com, where she sells quilts, soft toys and home accessories made from natural linens and printed cottons.

Visit the Etsy Open Studios flickr pool to view more photos of Manda's inspiring home studio. Check out the Etsy Finds below for creative ideas to organize your own studio or office: make it a motivating and enjoyable place to work!

I saw a great studio/organization idea on a blog i like which
is to use clipboards for project holders. she had three up on the wall. it is visual, and it keeps everything together..and last it is really a nice design element in itself!

I am sooooo inspired by the green pattern on the curtains and the glass bookcase where she has all her fabrics. I have been looking for white bookcases, but have not come around one that I really like and that has the swing to the side doors. It is amazing. As a matter of fact, I need to do some changes around my small studio as well so that my inspirations can get a reboot. Thanks a bunch, Happy crafting!

When my thoughts are chaotic and constantly streaming with ideas, i like to know where all my tools and supplies without getting frustrated in a mess of stuff. I love how your fabric collection is stored in the paned cabinet. What a lovely studio- and great sunlight!
