This weekend's Get the Look: Decor is inspired by the natural modern penthouse apartment of Etsy buyer, Ivy. She has taken on a whole new life in Germany where she has decorated her gorgeous apartment in calming shades of white, tan and gray. The light natural woods, textured wicker accents and slate gray chalkboards create a soothing feeling, while dark colors and patterns draw your eye to focal points throughout the room.

What a beautiful apartment. It's so serene and clean-lined (pretty much the opposite of my house). I think I need a penthouse apartment. :) Love all these choices. It's hard to single any out, but especially Treeviews' paintings, the maple storage bench, and that mid century magazine rack.

i'm always blown away by some people's ability to put together such an all encompassing look which in turn creates a mood enhancing environment. i don't know if i could ever be that consistent-- but it sure pays off-- i feel much more calm just looking at pictures of it... what a lovely place to go home to!!

I have to say...this is the most exciting collection of items ever on the Storque. Maybe it's just that several of the furniture selections happen to hit the right notes for me: modern, clean, and not stereotypically cutesy/girly! (Sorry, sometimes there can be a slight 'Anthropologie' overload...)

I love these tranquil color combos of white, tan and gray. The modern furniture is awesome. I have a similar color scheme in my work office which also a modern retro themed decor. I added the retro color of orange for some pop color...however, I really just the three nuetrals on their own.
