2 small changes I am making going forward...

1)Start using a mug at work. No more of those paper/foam cups for tea, coffee and water. I've seen people use paper cups to avoid spending those 2 mins it takes to wash. I used to be the same but no more.

2)Disconnect all the appliances not in use i.e. chargers, kitchen appliances, plug in heaters etc. Cutting off electricity to your consumer electronics when they’re not in use will save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

I remember celebrating Earth day as a kid..my friends and I had a club called "The Nature Club," or TNC, and we'd save and collect spare change and go down to the local gas station to buy candies. We'd split our haul and pat ourselves on the back for being such a good club. :-D

We drink solar powered milk and don't even breathe or fart to keep our footprint minimal. Arlo drove his car into the ocean so he wouldn't have harmful emissions. I chain smoke inside so not to hurt nature. Just the other day i put a plastic sandwich bag under Arlo's grease monkey so it wouldn't drip on the grass.

Just kidding. hardy har har, I don't really smoke.
But seriously, We do print all of our shirts in a solar powered studio! We are very proud of this fact.

avantanthologue has a great idea about the packaging aspect. I reuse and upcycle for shipping materials as much as possible-turn boxes inside out, turn cereal boxes inside out even to ship smaller things. If it needs plastic I buy Biobags which are compostable and have many more uses once the customer receives the item it came in. I get packing peanuts from my local natural health and beauty store. And I mention this in my shop profile that I reuse packaging when available and possible.

I heart all the items in this article, but I just need to point out that my shop was so very overlooked! I block print designs onto hemp/organic cotton fabrics using water based inks... and my shop name is actually in the article title!

IN my shop all the art is on repurposed wood or other materials and I use leftover paint given to me - als ouse recyled packaging from items sent to me - or boxes items come in etc

Great selection! Being 'green' has certainly changed dramatically in the last decade or so. Back then there wasn't all this choice and finding organic cotton tee was a nightmare, and so was organic-produced food, and don't even mention the cosmetics! It's great to see this change happening, wish it was happening even faster and on a much larger scale - so, if there are any corporations and car manufacturers out there looking in - start changing!!!!!!!
