Etsy Finds: Journey Down to the Bayou

ChristineEven though I've never had the opportunity to venture through the streets of New Orleans' French Quarter, I find this cultural city to be a great inspiration in fashion and home décor, with its historical architecture, sounds of jazz, and smells of Creole cooking. New Orleans is on the top of my list of places to visit this spring, but in the meantime, here are some great Etsy Finds inspired by the many sights and activities I hope to experience along my journey.

Nice! i love the fleur de lis ring. i have friends from college that moved to New Orleans a few years before the disaster. I was schedule to visit them 2 weeks before the storm hit, I still haven't been down there. Sigh...it's a crazy world!

Oooooh, I love New Orleans..... I'm needing a fix pretty soon! And bayousalvage is TOPS on my list of the absolute best Etsy New Orleans artists! I wear a bayousalvage cuff, that came loaded up with good mojo from the bayou all the time.... And those girls don't just make gorgeous goodies, they give of themselves, and their hard earned moolah to help re-build New Orleans. Thank you for this excellent blog!
