Etsy Finds: Mini-Comics!

Sean Flannagan, aka sean11, is a new hire to the Etsy product team. Welcome, Sean!

I've had a love affair with independent comics since grade school, when my mother took away my prized collection of Robert Crumb books and consequently made weird comic art even more desirable. These days I enjoy hunting for the next comics genius on Etsy. cartooncarolyn of Curls Studio has some great mini-comics for sale, including this one about something a lot of us wish we had: a Printable Brain.

WELCOME Sean!!! Some very cool finds here. Comic books rock and embarassingly enough, my fav's as a kid were my prized collections of Richie Rich comic books! Thanks for sharing and bringing me back to a place I had long forgotten about!

Yay!
One of the first things I bought on Etsy was one of JustMad's short comics. The art and story was very beautiful. Thanks for showcasing these comic artists.

Very cool! I love comics as well. There is still so much to see on etsy. I don't even think I've scratched the surface yet! I will check these shops out. Thanks for this article.

I love comics on Etsy, too. I just finished reading the "Breathers" and "Happy Town" series from Justmadbooks. I highly recommend them. Justin Madison shows real promise to be that next "comic genius." I'll have to check out the others. Thanks!

Yay! Thanks to Sean for spotlighting Curls. Etsy is so great and I'm glad comics are represented. I even linked to this from my blog: http://www.curls-studio.blogspot.com

My favorite subject!

Etsy is the only place I've sold my mini-comics so far...I'm really glad to have a place for them. And there are tons of minis here that I want to buy as well.
