Etsy Finds: Ride your Bike

Reading about National Bike to Work Day (it's today!) got me wondering what bicycle-themed items Etsy had to offer these days. Father's Day is fast approaching and I need to find some bike nerd gear for my baby daddy

I'm posting this extra early this morning so you all have to time to pull your bike out of the garage, fix that flat you've been ignoring since October, dig your helmet out of the back of the closet and RIDE THAT BIKE TO WORK TODAY.

Thank you, that is all.

Love,
Anda

Recycled Inner Tube Belt

Back home in Richmond, kids I knew were always making themselves belts from spent bike tires. Apparently the tubes work well in a pinch, too. Belt by CyclonaDesigns, $19.

yay dogwoodlane! Her stuff rocks. :)

I wish I could bike to work... but unfortunatly the drivers around here are absolutely crazy and the traffic is too nutso to brave when I've got to head to my job. *sigh* I do detest Atlanta sometimes. No working transit system, and it's not very pedestrian/biker friendly at all.

Nice article and cool stuff!

Cool! Now I really need a bike AND I really need to deck it and me out with etsy bike finery!

Thanks for including my earrings!

Can you believe we don't even have sidewalks here for walking? Or bike lanes? and everyone drives like a maniac?
I miss the town my Oma lives in (in Germany)- no cars in the shopping district- walking and bikes only...
Except at the grocery store which has a back parking lot opening to the main road for those who need to lug more than their bodies can handle....

My husband rides his bike to and from the office every single day with a laptop strapped to his back (and on the way to work he drops off my son a few blocks from home at school, who scoots along on his scooter). We need some bicycle laptop bag gear for the hub!

That crystal-encrusted bicycle bell is pretty great!

I love the fact that National Bike to Work Day exists! Today, I loaded up my side bag and back wheel rack with packages and took them to the Post Office (before the temperature gets into the triple digits!)

WTG Dogwood!

It is not too safe to bike in my area because of the lack of sidewalks and narrow roads. I loving biking and truly miss it.

Yup! yup! yup!
I agree biking is cool coz aside from excercise, its a pollution free.
In Japan most people ride bike going to work. I find it very romantic seeing lovers biking together.

I love that rainbow bike shirt!!!!
