The rustic look is all about the woods. Specifically, earthenware pottery in natural tones with a few muted brights, twigs and branches, and woodland creatures of all sorts (I am *loving* wolves right now).

I've been stocking up on rustic goods for my place, and it's an earthy, cozy haven. Nothing makes me feel like a natural woman (as it were) like arranging my driftwood tealight holders (from ParadiseHillDesigns) and log candle holders (from emmyl33) around the tub for a romantic bath for one.

Hmmm, now that sounds like a Valentine's Day plan that I can get behind!

Isn't it great macrame is all hip now? People always said THAT will never...but on Etsy it is!
