What a coincidence, I have just uploaded a new design called Guggenheim, it was made using some shots I took when I was in NY a few years back. Can't wait to see the picks.

first...what a fabulous partnership! Thank you to the G for supporting Etsy and our fabulous artists!
The collection of art he chose is a strong and timely reflection of what is happening in the Art world.
If you like Illerate Art's piece, check out Trenton Doyle Hancock's work.
Look up Robert Gober if you like Folkmother.
In fact, you could pick up any catalogue from a Whitney Bienial or a collection of New American Paintings and these artists could hold their own with their contemporaries.
It's amazing how so many vastly different styles somehow all manage to be relevant in today's art world - and relevancy is the key element. If that is lacking, why bother looking at or reflecting upon it?

ps...I forgot to mention Kara Walker...if you are a fan of the silhouette piece by Mountainbrook, Kara brought the silhouette into the forfront with her work.
