So, it turns out, I'm a dude.

Yup, while it may come as a surprise to some, it wasn't much of a surprise to me. When I was a youngin', I had pretty much gotten used to the idea before it was really clear to me what a dude was. Not that a dude should be anything specific: I mean, anybody can be a dude if they really are inclined to be one. That being said, if you know someone who strives to be a dude, but is unsure how to best do so, I'd suggest they heed the following facts.

There are two things that make dudes "dudes," and those two things are undoubtedly smokin' and rockin'. Cigars and guitars are about the two most important things in any dude's life, so any potential dude ought abide by those rules. Other things include drinkin', shootin' and breakin' stuff. What y'oughtta take away from this is that above all else is smokin' and rockin'.

Which brings me to my Etsy Find, which combines the best of both worlds into the utmost manifestation of dude: kwithrow's cigar box guitar. This guitar is what any dude is lookin' for in life, or at least what any dude oughtta be looking for in said dude's duty-cycle.

If you've made the acquaintance of a dude that can play a lick or two, my suggestion would be to get one of these puppies in his hands. Otherwise, some cigars, smokin' related items, and/or rockin' paraphernalia. As I have duly stated, I am a dude. A dude with his ears pierced would gladly wear those guitar pick earrings you see below. In fact, I might just go buy them for myself right now...
