This post is dedicated to all the moms! So many of our mothers were the ones to teach us how to make things. My mom, Judy, is an art teacher/farmer/chef who can make just about anything. She's like a whirling-dervish-artistic-MacGyver in a female body. Although I didn't pick up as many of the skills from her as I should have, she instilled in me a real appreciation for art and craft. But unlike me, she's not into the whole computer interface side of arts and crafts, so I'll be helping her out this season with her holiday shopping online at Etsy.

I know many of you reading this have mothers like mine. Moms are often the ones who give the most, so here are some gifts ideas (inspired by my mom's style) to get you thinking of those ladies in your lives!
