Laurie Grassi is the executive editor for Canadian magazine, Style at Home and the Natural Chic blogger at StyleatHome.com, so all of her time is consumed by thoughts of beautiful homes, fantastic home decor accessories, and how to live in a more eco-friendly but still stylish way. When she does have a spare moment, she rides her horse, Lex, who also loves the Earth, but in a somewhat different way: He likes to roll around in the mud and get as dirty as possible!
I’m always on the lookout for great natural products for the home, and I recently posted about a colourful baby quilt by Etsy’s SewnNatural. There are masses of other fabulous earth-friendly products on Etsy, and this is just a small sampling!

What a clever use of an old can! It's so neat to see what people are doing with reclaimed and recycled materials these days; I love it. And I've never seen anyone else with the name Laurie spelled that way; my Aunt spells her name that way too and it's quite rare!

The recycled sail handbag is awesome. I wish I had thought of it years ago when my uncle (who sells yacht sails) was trying to figure out what to do with all of his client's old sails, as it seemed a waste to just destroy them. Love it!
