Nobody loves products more than Country Living markets editor Katie Woolsey — especially the quirky-meets-sophisticated variety that is characteristic of Etsy's artisans! During her four years covering home design she's always looked to this creative gang to help make her pages sing.
I'm always telling my friends and co-workers that I can't wait to get a great apartment to myself so that I can fill it with my favorite finds from Etsy. Until then, take a look at the trend that I'm inspired by right now — country kitchen with a twist!

I really like the rustic/antique theme with a twist of modern esp with the ant dishes. I can absolutely see myself forgetting about them late at night and accidentally freaking myself out at first sight.

Hi Katie,
It's interesting to read about Country Living in this feature because I am attending the Country Living Women Entrepreneurs event this year in Chicago and have been chosen to "Pitch Your Product", which will be my Echo quilts/bags/totes. I just sold the one I had left in the shop to a very kind buyer that will allow me to send it to her after the event. I'm just as excited to be there for the event as I am to see old friends as I grew up in Chicago. If you are planning to attend the WE event I would love to meet you.

Ha! The ant dishes are too much! I had a set like that once in college-- didn't wash the spoon after putting honey in my tea! Ooops.
Katie, I think it's great that you brought a taste of Country Living to the Storque to share with us! Looks like you're getting quite the collection built up-- I'm sure your apartment will be quaint and lovely when you do get it.

I have to say that the older I get (only 32) the more interested in country living I become. I used to be all about modern design, but after having kids I am craving country living and the hope to one day raise my own chickens, have a garden and a white picket fence, or at least the rolling countryside behind me. Great finds. I especially like the Ants on My Deluxe Set. Thank you for sharing.

Country Living magazine is my favorite magazine. I have been getting it for decades! I savor reading and looking through it. It is a treat that I save for a special day when I know I won't be interrupted.
Of course, I loved all the picks. In addition to creating jewelry, I am into making cards so I loved the salt and pepper gift tags and the girly tags on her site. How cute are they?!
