Last night we were excited to have Andrew Wagner live in the Virtual Labs sharing his favorites! Andrew is editor-in-chief of American Craft Magazine and has impeccable taste (as you can see from his picks below!) This month's American Craft is overflowing with fascinating articles like Brooklyn, New York: Craft Over the Bridge, where we spotted Etsy seller Elasticco's work!

Having fun with Andrew in the Virtual Labs!
If you were there, let us know what you thought in the comments below. And don't miss tonight's guest, Jonathan Butler from Brooklyn's biggest blog-about-town, Brownstoner, picking must-have housewares and art for the holidays. Be sure to tune in tonight at 7pm EST in the Virtual Labs.
See the complete Shop Live schedule here.

It was fun reading all the cute comments on the various items! It was my first time to do a virtual lab so I had NO idea what to do, but I still LAUGHED a LOT! :)

Well this is the 3rd one I've been too..I guess that's all of them so far with the exception of tonight's that I missed. I have to say that I find the virtual lab format to be a bit too jumbled, crowded and overwrought with action from viewers. Not that it isn't fun and funny for a bit but I find it impossible to concentrate on the items being presented. Last night there were more pencils, hearts, kisses, and paper airplanes visible than the items themselves. So, rule of thumb for me is that these events will be viewed more for the fun of it than serious buying..great if you need a laugh...

Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone who joined the "Labs." It was a lot of fun and I appreciate everyone taking the time to watch/listen and comment here. Hope you all will take some time to explore everything the American Craft Council is doing as well - from our magazine (American Craft - http://www.americancraftmag.org/) to our shows (Baltimore is coming up and is very, very cool!) to our library (if you are in New York and you haven't come by, shame on you! ha!) to our upcoming conference in Minneapolis. Anyhow, we've got a lot going on. Drop me a line if you want/need more info (awagner@craftcouncil.org). Thanks again and thanks Etsy for putting together such cool programming...
